How Many Grams In A Eighth Of Crack
Thinking about buying cocaine but not sure how much it’ll cost you? Worried that your drug dealer is ripping you off? Just how much is a gram of coke? In this guide, we’ll go over the average price of cocaine in each of the 50 US states as well as numerous other countries. We end by explaining the factors that affect the price of cocaine so you can decide if you’re getting a good deal.
It depends on how cracked it is, but it's commonly known that one gram of crack cocaine contains about 2.5–3 grams. How many grams is in a 8 ball of cocaine? An 8 ball is slang for 3.5 grams of Cocaine HCL. Of course some dealers will give less, but the correct weight is 3.5 grams or 35 decigrams (points). 7 grams of crack is 1/4 ounce. In fact, 7 grams of anything is 1/4 ounce. In the pea-brained world of crack use, 7 grams does not have a special cool designation, it is just a quarter ounce.
How Much Is a Gram of Coke?
Let’s get right to it: How much does a gram of coke cost? In the United States, the average price of a gram of coke ranges from $70-$90. In the following sections, we’ll look more closely at cocaine prices in different states, as well as different countries, and we’ll also discuss the factors that affect these prices.
A gram is one of the most common units of cocaine to purchase. You can often get about ten lines from a gram of coke, although this of course depends on how big the lines are. Another popular unit of cocaine to purchase is an “8 ball” or “eighth.” This is equal to about 3.5 grams of coke. How much is 2 grams of coke, or how much is half a gram of coke? Just double the price of a gram of cocaine and subtract $10 (since you usually get a discount if you buy more) to get the price for two grams of cocaine, or divide the prices in two and add $10 to get the price for half a gram of cocaine. So two grams of coke cost about $130-170, and half a gram of coke costs about $45-$55.
Average Price of Cocaine in Each State
Below is a chart showing the average price of a gram of coke in each of the 50 states, as well as the District of Columbia. These prices are in US dollars, and since they’re only estimates, it’s completely possible (and even likely) for you to pay a different price for a gram of coke in a certain state than the one listed. Later on in this guide we’ll go over the different factors that contribute to cocaine price and why you may end up paying more or less than the average. These estimates were averaged based on data from various drug reports and websites, some of which include user submitted data.

Which Factors Make Cocaine More or Less Expensive?
Why does the price of 1 gram of cocaine vary so much? It’s because there are many factors that affect cocaine price. Below are five of the most important.
Location
Location is probably the most important factor that determines the price of a gram of cocaine. A country or state close to where cocaine is produced will usually have lower prices because it’s cheaper and less risky to transport cocaine across shorter distances. Areas that are farther away, particularly when there are a lot of strictly-controlled borders to cross, will typically have much higher cocaine prices.
You can see this trend in both above charts. Cocaine is cheapest in the three countries where coca leaves are grown: Bolivia, Colombia, and Peru. These countries are the only ones with single-digit prices for a gram of cocaine. On the other hand, remote island countries like Australia, Japan, and New Zealand have very high cocaine prices because they are so far from cocaine sources, and because the cocaine can’t be brought to any of those areas via land.
You can also see this trend in US states. States that are close to the Mexican border, such as Arizona, Texas, and New Mexico, have lower average cocaine prices since they’re closer to the source of the drug.
Purity
Generally, the purer the cocaine you buy is, the more it’ll cost. A gram of completely pure cocaine will cost about $160-$180 in the United States, or about twice the price of the averages we saw in the above chart. The tricky thing about purity though, is that you only have your drug dealer’s word for proof; you can’t determine cocaine purity just by looking at it. (There are drug testing kits you can get to test the purity of your cocaine, but because these take some time to use and can be expensive, you likely won’t be able to whip one out right as you’re making a purchase.)
So always be wary if you’re being asked to pay an extra-high price because the 1 gram of coke you’re buying is “high-quality” or “pure.” You won’t know how true this is until you take a hit, and your money will likely be long gone by then. Also, be aware that if you’re buying a gram of cocaine, it’s extremely rare that it’ll be completely pure. Cocaine in amounts that small is almost always cut with another substance, which can range from over-the-counter painkillers to other narcotics.
Competition
If there are many cocaine dealers in an area, the competition often drives prices down because the dealers may offer a lower price in the hopes that you’ll buy from them instead of another dealer. On the other hand, a dealer who knows he’s the only person selling cocaine in an area may raise his prices because he knows you’ll have trouble buying it from anywhere else. This often causes cocaine prices in large cities to be lower than prices in more rural areas.
Strictness of Drug Laws
The severity of drug laws in the country where you’re buying cocaine can also influence prices. A country known for strict drug laws and putting drug dealers in jail may cause dealers to raise their prices because they need a bigger payout to make the large risk worth it.
An 8th In Grams
Australia and New Zealand both have strictly controlled borders with harsh penalties for drug trafficking, so it shouldn’t be a surprise that they have some of the highest cocaine prices in the world.
Your Dealer
Additionally, the dealer you choose to purchase your cocaine from will affect how much for a gram of coke you pay. Some dealers are able to get better prices for larger amounts of cocaine and may pass those savings onto you. Others may not be as good at bargaining, or they may want to maximize their profits as much as possible, so they’ll charge a higher-than-average price.
Your dealer may also give you a special deal if you’re a new customer or purchasing a new type of cocaine in order to convince you to return and buy more drugs.
Conclusion: How Much Is a Gram of Coke?
How much is a gram of coke? The average price of cocaine in the United States is about $70-$90 a gram, while in the rest of the world it can range from a few dollars to over three hundred dollars.
The price of cocaine depends on many factors, and there are five that are most important:
- Location
- Purity
- Competition
- Strictness of Drug Laws
- Your Drug Dealer
Each of these factors affects the average price of cocaine in an area. You can use this info to make sure you’re getting a good deal when you’re purchasing cocaine and be prepared for how much to spend if you plan to buy 1 gram of coke in a new area.

Lmao how harsh to the poor dude :P… I’m gonna derail this but woot woot.
well what is the best way to cook up some crack with 1g of cocaine? According to masterchefs, when cooking shit youll wanna add lotsa butter and crunchy biscuit base. It adds flavor.
how many g’s of crack will i get from this one g of cocaine? Not enough for an average dose, so you’ll need to plug it to get the best out of your shit.
how much will this 1g of cocaine cost me? Depends on how much you pay for it, the more you pay the more it’ll cost ya. The intelligent people told me that it’s got something to do with price.i can’t believe this person didn’t even know about bicard-ching ratio.. seriously, you only have to google it.
you can be a crack fiend in just a matter of days, 400 pound GONE. good fun never feeling satisfied 5 min buzz, what a fun high.
Does anyone know what will happen if benzocaine is add to Levamisole can they be cook with baking soda to form a crack or rock.
cocaine is about 4% average street purity, to cook with bicarb add 30% bicarb to mixture and wash this will result in a crack rock of about 2.5% purity, this is why people think crack is shit these days, two years ago an average crack rock would be at least double this.
You could alternately use ammonia or ether, dissolve the cocaine hydrocloride in the liquid and gently evaporate off the liquid leaving you with purified base cocaine, be careful ether is explosive when heated (so is ammonia for that matter), this method will leave you with pure rocks which were what got people into smoking the shit to start with.
Of course with average purity cocaine you will be left with a rock of 0.04g after doing this, still up for it? still into taking cocaine, wait your dealer gets the best peruvian flake and its 85% pure :biggreen::satisfied you muppet, you believe that bullshit, he’s cooked it up for you? did he mention using extra bicarb 60% so your rock is only 0.9% cocaine?
keep on smoking the shit
yes they can be cooked with bicarb the dealers friend
Most comprehensive tutorial I know. I used to have a big problem with coke, and that problem was not having it as often as I’d like. Tried making crack several times and failed most, gave up. I’d suggest you do the same, but if you’re insistent on making it, you might as well do it properly.
If you’re in the UK, I have no idea how much a gram of coke will cost you. A reasonably priced gram, with minimum cut (you’re never going to find pure cocaine unless you make it yourself or head out to Peru. The most you can hope for is 70-80% purity generously.) is about $60 here in the states, I think that’s about £37. That’s coming from someone who traveled all over, from where it should be purest in Florida, to NC, to California. 60 is reasonable no matter where I go, though I’ve gotten it for less with heavier cut.
One thing I will tell you, DO NOT SELL THIS SHIT. No matter how well you make it, it’s not going to be great, and you’re going to lose lots of money if you aren’t handling ounces of cocaine at a time. You mentioned a gram. That’s personal amounts, even a ball is personal to the right addict. You’d need quite a bit in order to get your money’s worth, so just smoke it and let us know when you find out it’s not a worthwhile high. I really hope you do realize that, it’s toxic. I’d much rather stick cocaine up my butt and have a longer, more intense coke high than smoke crack.
Be careful, be easy, and I didn’t tell you nothin’.

Oh how I wish you could get good coke on the uk for under 40 quid.. gbp but sadly if you want to weirdly coke in the UK you will have to shell out at least £120 – £180 but it’s like they say you get what you pay for peeps
I have made some really nice rock using bicarb but it does take patience and knowledge ammonia is better if you can stand the smell :)))
Mix the coke with a little less baking soda and plenty of water in a test tube fireproof.. Heat on stove swirling, swirling , swirling. You will see a yellowish ball ball start to form. This is your crack. Once you have your ball shock the tube with cold water. This will solidify the ball. Keep swirling the clod water until the ball starts to clink. pour the water onto a paper towel and you have your rock. The amount that “comes back” depends on the purity of your blow.Have patience. Let your rock dry. It’s now ready to smoke. I recommend a metal hash pipe. fill bowl with clean long cigarette ash. Sprinkle your crushed rock on top. Knock your socks off. Cover bowl with paper. There may be another hit left.
I love how so many people get all touchy or want to share their judgment on a kid for wanting to taste that glorious taste…nothing like it. and hearing that crack and sizzle as you bring the flame to the rock. oh yeah….. and then its over. You will become instantly dumb and it won’t be as good ever again…well wait a couple days and it will. You must have will-power and set yourself some rules and follow your own rules. Have fun man, it is awesome. Its almost a right of passage to get all fucked up, strung out, and broke….but then you pull your self up, learn, set rules YOUR rules, and stick to them… Drugs are glorious and fun, and the only way to deal with reality, just make sure you go to work every day and keep your priorities in order. Well, I guess I did the same exact thing….
